Several new restaurants have burst onto the restaurant scene in the last year. With discounted prices, Ann Arbor Restaurant Week is a perfect time to try participating new restaurants. Here are 4 new places to consider trying next week.


Grand Traverse Pie Company
Serving delicious pies in addition to sandwiches, soup and salads, Grand Traverse Pie Company opened a downtown Ann Arbor location on Liberty in May of 2012.
Isalita
After the success of Mani Osteria, many people anticipated the owner, Adam Baru, opening a new Mexican restaurant next door. Isalita, which opened in late December, serves traditional Mexican street food as well as a full bar menu.
Kuroshio
On the corner of East Liberty and Fourth Avenue, Kuroshio is a contemporary Asian fusion restaurant. Kuroshio opened its doors in late December of 2012.
Lena
Described as a unique dining experience, the menu is inspired by foods and traditions of Latin America. Lena opened on the corner of South Main Street and Liberty in late August of 2012.
