South Ann Arbor is a relatively small region encompassing Pittsfield Township and surrounding areas. The area has a handful of neighborhoods, in addition to rural farmland and industrial properties. LAKE FOREST
Lake Forest is a desirable, well-kept neighborhood in the northwest corner of Pittsfield Township with a variety of executive homes situated atop rolling hills. The homes in Lake Forest were built between 1993 and 2001 by a number of custom home builders, and many offer spacious and open floor plans with walk-out lower levels to take advantage of the scenic neighborhood. The community has an 18-hole golf course, Lake Forest Golf Course, that is open to the public. Lake Forest also has an 8-acre private lake where many residents fish, 12 acres of open space and wooded areas with walking paths.
STONEBRIDGE
Stonebridge is an expansive neighborhood hosting over 650 homes divided between several different smaller subdivisions, including Stonebridge Estates, The Ponds at Stonebridge, The Links at Stonebridge, Stonebridge Heathers, Highpoint at Stonebridge, Crooked Stick at Stonebridge, and Lone Oak at Stonebridge.
