Nifty 50 Anniversary Party at Orchard Hills Athletic Club
When summer temperatures heat up in Ann Arbor, cool off by going for a swim at the Orchard Hills Athletic Club.
This Sunday, June 22, is your chance to make a splash as the Orchard Hills Athletic Club (OHAC) celebrates its 50 year Anniversary. The celebration goes from 5 – 10 p.m. and is a great opportunity of have fun with friends while enjoying a BBQ dinner.
Located in Northeast Ann Arbor, Orchard Hills Athletic Club has two pools for members to enjoy, the OHAC and the Dolfin pool. The OHAC pool has a roped-off shallow area for younger kids, an in-pool basketball goal, a 10-foot water slide, shaded picnic tables, a grass volleyball court, and shuffleboard. The Dolfin pool includes a diving board, covered patio seating area, picnic tables and grill, and at least one lap swim always available.
These pools have a variety of programs that have led to a long tradition of developing and training young swimmers, divers, and synchronized swimmers. For 2014, they have introduced evening water aerobics and drop-in water polo classes at the Dolfin pool.
