Join the Battle at The Michigan Theater

If you don’t have tickets for Saturday’s big game, you can watch the game on the big screen at The Michigan Theater while supporting a great cause.

The Vada Murray Tailgate includes a live auction featuring sports memorabilia, a cash bar, food and kid-friendly movies and activities.
Vada Murray was a former defensive back under Bo Schembechler for the University of Michigan who turned down an opportunity to play for the NFL, choosing to dedicate his life to public service by becoming a police officer for the Ann Arbor Police Department. In 2008, Vada was unexpectedly diagnosed with advance lung cancer and tragically died in 2011.

100 % of the proceeds from this fundraiser benefit The Vada Murray Fund for Cancer Research, a non-profit organization through the University of Michigan Health System. The purpose of the Vada Murray Fund for Cancer Research is to fund cancer research aimed at early detection treatments for lung cancer, causes of all types of cancer, with a focus on environmental causes, and cancer treatments.
