Collecting Winter Coats for the Ann Arbor Area
Over the Coat Drive’s 18-year history, Reinhart has collected more than 18,000 new and gently used winter coats. Many wonder, where do the coats go?
We contact several local agencies annually to determine their needs in terms of winter coats. This year we will be donating coats to:
- Ann Arbor Community Center
- Ann Arbor Learning Community
- Avalon Housing
- Catholic Social Services
- Crisis Residential Services
- Dawn Farm
- Emmanuel Lutheran Church
- Faith in Action
- Grandparents as Parents
- Hope Clinic
- Huron High School
- Jewish Family Services
- Michigan Ability Partners
- Northside Community Center
- Peace Neighborhood Center
- SafeHouse Center
- Saline Social Services
- Salvation Army
- Shelter Association of Washtenaw
- St. Andrews Breakfast Program
- St. Louis Center
- Stockbridge Community Outreach
- Vineyard Church of Ann Arbor
- Washtenaw County Community Support Treatment Services
- Washtenaw Intermediate School Education Project
- Women’s Center of Southeastern Michigan
Through the month of November, we will be collecting new and gently used winter coats at all of the Charles Reinhart Sales Offices as well as all Sunday Open Houses.
