The home was inspired by the charming Cotswold cottages of the English countryside.

This home was built by Dave Menefee, a local mason. He worked together with the owner to come up with a Cotswold cottage-inspired plan that also used modern, energy-efficient building techniques. The walls consist of two layers of concrete, with insulation in between, making the house very energy efficient. The cobblestone exterior sets the tone for the charming interior, which features a timber frame great room, updated kitchen, and large master bedroom or studio on the first floor.
