Movoto Real Estate, a real estate blog, recently published a list of the 10 most exciting places in Michigan.

To determine the top ten cities, 56 cities with populations over 20,000 people were evaluated on:
• Nightlife per capita (bars, clubs, comedy, etc.)
• Live music venues per capita
• Active life options per capita (parks, outdoor activities, etc.)
• Arts and Entertainment per capita (movie theaters, festivals, galleries, theaters, etc.)
• Fast Food restaurants per capita (the fewer the better)
• Percentage of restaurants that are not fast food
• Percentage of young residents ages 18 to 34
What makes Ann Arbor so exciting?
Ann Arbor stood out due the young population and college town atmosphere. We ranked extremely high in multiple categories including but not limited to: best arts and active life, young residents, and music venues.
