Central Ann Arbor is home to the University of Michigan campus, which includes its football stadium nicknamed “The Big House,” the University of Michigan Hospital, the University of Michigan Museum of Art, the University of Michigan Museum of Natural History, and more. The university brings a young, college town feel to the city, especially during football season. Central Ann Arbor is also home to the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology, plus the Michigan Theater and The State Theatre, two historic theaters still in operation. BURNS PARK

Considered one of the most beloved and centrally located neighborhoods in the city, Burns Park is a desirable neighborhood in Central Ann Arbor comprised of tree-canopied streets and beautiful older homes. Activity centers on the 15-acre Burns Park, which hosts five tennis courts, a basketball court, playground equipment, walking paths and Burns Park School. Burns Park is a friendly, community-oriented neighborhood allowing convenient access to the city's best attractions, including downtown Ann Arbor, the University of Michigan Campus and Nichols Arboretum.

GEDDES HEIGHTS

Bordering the 1,000-acre Nichols Arboretum, Geddes Heights is a quaint enclave on a wooded natural area sloping down towards the Huron River. The neighborhood features a variety of luxury homes atop sizeable lots covered in mature landscaping. Many of the homes in north Geddes Heights were constructed in the 1920s and 1930s while the slopes along the river feature a number of newer custom-built homes. Geddes Heights is within walking distance of downtown Ann Arbor, providing the best of both cosmopolitan life and outdoor recreation at Nichols Arboretum.

KERRYTOWN

Situated just north of downtown, Kerrytown is a charming and vibrant neighborhood offering a unique blend of both residential and business. Centering around Kerrytown Market & Shops, Kerrytown is home to some of the city's best restaurants, one-of-a-kind shops, art galleries, bars and attractions, including the year-round Ann Arbor Farmers' Market. This historic area is rich with culture and activity, yet outdoor recreation is close at hand — as some of the city's best parks are within 1 mile of most homes in Kerrytown. ANN ARBOR HILLS

Considered one of the first residential areas in the city, Old Fourth Ward is home to a number of historic homes, buildings and churches. The neighborhood is especially popular amongst University of Michigan students and faculty due to its proximity to campus and downtown.
