Michigan native, Thom Omar grew up near Lansing. As a long-time service worker in a variety of fields he has honed the skills of customer service, effective communications, and time management. He has worked extensively and successfully in food service management for over 15 years. Most recently he was as a local small business co-owner and manager of food service for a pre-school company. Previously he served as a manager at many local food service establishments.
He has been involved with area organizations like the Humane Society of Washtenaw County and his daughter’s Girl Scout troop.
