The Phoenix Mill 100th Anniversary New Years Eve

Where: Phoenix Mill, Plymouth

When: December 31, 8 p.m.–1 a.m.

When: December 31, 7:30 p.m.

Ziggy’s in Ypsilanti is hosting an unforgettable New Year’s Eve party with all the tunes you never knew you loved. Since the party didn’t happen last year, they’re going all out this year! So slip on your fanciest, most gold outfit and party all night long with DJ AM Gold and DJ Golden Feelings. There is a $5 cover at the door.

On New Year’s Eve, Café Cortina is serving a special three-course prix fixe dinner for $125 per person, with the option to add dessert and/or a special wine pairing. Where: Venue by 4M, Ann Arbor

When: December 31, 6 p.m.

Venue by 4M is a restaurant, coworking and event space in Lower Burns Park with four food lines available for dine-in or take-out, plus a full bar, lounge and market. On New Year’s Eve, Venue is offering a five-course tasting menu, including a “garden” of vegetable tempura, handmade ravioli with lobster ricotta filling in a lobster bisque sauce, seared Hamachi filet over vegetables finished with a dashinage, braised short ribs over mashed potatoes, braised baby carrots and mushrooms, and an individual coconut bundt cake served with a red wine braised pear, crème anglaise, and coconut tuile. NYE at the Blind Pig

Where: The Blind Pig, Ann Arbor

When: December 31, 7 p.m.

The Blind Pig is the locals’ choice for live music almost every night of the week. It’s been around since the early ‘70s, after all! This quirky bar and music venue is hosting an exciting New Year’s Eve concert, featuring The Macpodz, Erin Zindle & The Ragbirds, Chirp, and Act Casual. Tickets for this 21+ event are $20 and doors open at 7 p.m.!

 

NYE Celebration with Al Jackson

Where: Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase, Ann Arbor

When: December 31, 7:30–10:30 p.m.

Laugh your way into the new year at a comedy show with Al Jackson, a Los Angeles-based standup comedian, writer and TV/radio personality best known for his 30-minute special “Comedy Central Presents: Al Jackson.” These tickets sell fast every year so make sure you secure your spot now!

 

New Year’s Eve with Pete Siers

Where: Kerrytown Concert House, Ann Arbor

When: December 31, 7:30 p.m.

Kerrytown Concert House is hosting their annual New Year’s Eve party, this time featuring drummer Pete Siers, clarinetist Dave Bennett, and pianist Cliff Monear. New Year's Eve Kid-Friendly Events in Ann Arbor

The Polar Express 3D at the Henry Ford

Where: The Henry Ford Museum, Dearborn

When: December 31 + January 1, 1 + 4:45 p.m.

Continue the Christmas magic into the new year with a viewing of The Polar Express — in 3D — at the Henry Ford! This classic movie follows a young boy’s magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express, where he learns about friendship, bravery and the spirit of Christmas. Buhr Park Outdoor Ice Arena Open Skate

Where: Buhr Park Ice Arena, Ann Arbor

When: December 31

Skate into 2023 at the Buhr Park Outdoor Ice Arena, which offers open skate throughout the winter. Since New Year’s Eve falls on a Saturday this year, you can skate from 2:45–4:30 p.m. and 7:15-8:30 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults and $5 for seniors and youth 17 and under — and skate rentals are just $3! New Year’s Eve Family Bash

Where: Paradise Park, Novi

When: December 31, 12:30–2:30 p.m.

We can’t think of a better place to ring in the new year than paradise — Paradise Park in Novi, that is! The New Year’s Eve Family Bash is perfect for the whole family, with a mid-day countdown ideal for kids with early bedtimes. Tickets include one game of laser tag each, a homemade pizza buffet, unlimited soda, a balloon drop with amazing prizes, party hats and horns for each guest, and a coloring contest.
