5.   Sidetrack Bar and Grill
Voted by the readers of AnnArbor.com as the best place for a burger in Washtenaw County and named one of the nation’s 20 best burgers by GQ Magazine, Sidetrack is known for their burgers. Located in Ypsilanti’s historic Depot Town, Sidetrack has an extensive drink list, great menu and excellent happy hour specials. Their outdoor seating areas are a great place to kick back, relax and enjoy summer.

 
4.   Jolly Pumpkin Café and Brewery
Jolly Pumpkin already had a large beer following when they opened the doors to Jolly Pumpkin Café and Brewery, located on Main Street in downtown Ann Arbor, in late 2009. Jolly Pumpkin’s rooftop deck is a great summer atmosphere, complimenting their delicious menus and drink list.

 
3.   Dominick’s
Closed late November through March, Dominick’s is tucked away from the bar scene. Located across from the University of Michigan Law Quad, Dominick’s is a summertime tradition in Ann Arbor for those of legal drinking age. With a large outdoor porch, second floor balcony and a patio in the back with several picnic tables, Dominick’s is a great place to enjoy sangria from mason jars.

Known for serving a delicious Sunday brunch, aut BAR also serves up Mexican cuisine and drinks everyday of the week on Braun Court in Ann Arbor’s Kerrytown. aut BAR’s patio is spacious, shaded and extremely popular.
