Huron River Roundup

As it gets warm outside many people are searching for a way to enjoy nature while getting involved with the local community.
A great way to do this is to participate in the annual spring monitoring event, the Huron River Roundup at the Huron River on Saturday, April 20!

Huron River Roundup

This is a wonderful opportunity to bring a few of your friends, family, and co-workers for a unique activity in which you will collect a sample of the bugs that live in our streams. While many of these critters are carnivores, only a few are likely to taste you.
Trained volunteers lead you to two stream sites, where you search through leaves, sediment, and other river debris. Volunteers will get to see the life in the Huron River waterways while helping the health of the river.
