Reinhart Stuffed an Ann Arbor Transportation Authority Bus for Toys for Tots

Several Reinhart agents spent Saturday volunteering at Reinhart’s Stuff the Bus event.  A 40’ bus, generously donated by the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority (AATA), was parked outside Toys-R-Us in Arborland Saturday.

The Stuff the Bus event, spearheaded by Jaimie Parker and Sarah Kovalak, was a huge success!  Thanks to the support of the community, we were able to Stuff the Bus, filling all the seats on the bus with toys, leaving only enough room to walk down the aisle.
Sgt. Josh Henning, dressed in uniform, was at the event standing near the bus as people made donations.  Milan Boy Scout Troop 449 and Club Scout Troop 491 was excited to be involved, providing assistance during the day by serving cookies and coffee donated by Starbucks Coffee Co.  Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches surprised the volunteers with a platter of sandwiches and chips for lunch.

Toys for Tots will distribute the new toys within Washtenaw County in time for the holidays.
