Local Ann Arbor Photographers You Should Be Following on Instagram
Ann Arbor is a beautiful city filled with amazing people and incredible sights. But through the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we can forget how good we have it. Thankfully, there are many local photographers that have made it their mission to showcase the very best of our city, whether it’s through a laughing family, a romantic wedding, a local play or some of our stunning scenery.
We rounded up some of our favorite local photographers with thriving Instagram accounts. So give them a follow and whenever you need a reminder of how great A2 is—just scroll through your feed!
Amanda Eskridge
Amanda Eskridge was born and raised in Ann Arbor and is now raising her own family here—a teenager and two toddlers—with her husband. Her Instagram is packed full of natural light lifestyle photography featuring families, children, newborns and expectant mothers. We love her intimate lifestyle approach to photography because it shows real families in real surroundings. Because she doesn’t photograph inside a studio, her images are honest and naturally beautiful.
Amanda Dumouchelle

Amanda Dumouchelle has been a professional photographer since 2008 when she was living in Japan. Now, she calls Ann Arbor home and specializes in maternity, newborn, family and lifestyle photography. Her modern approach highlights the real-life moments more than the stiff poses you often see in family portraits. Her Instagram is filled with laughter, surprises and plenty of hugs.
Amy Kimball
Amy Kimball has four kids of her own and quickly learned just how important it is for families and children to have room to roam. Bringing that insight into her professional photography, she offers a unique studio experience on 70 acres of farmland in Chelsea. She and her family have turned the land into a dreamy destination for family photos and exploration. The lands include wildflower meadows, a 25-acre wood, a spring-fed pond and buildings in various states of repair.
Lori Page
Lori Page is an Ann Arbor-based photographer but travels to Ypsilanti, Saline, Dexter, Chelsea, Plymouth, Northville and our surrounding communities. Throughout her life, she has gained experience as both a mother and a teacher; she is a member of the Professional Photographer’s of America; she was accepted through application into the National Association of Professional Child Photographers, and she was accepted as a ClickPro. Melissa Cozart is a mother, wife and professional photographer specializing in newborns, maternity, family, children and senior portraits. Because her passion for portrait photography is heavily influenced by her own children and her desire to freeze her favorite moments, she strives to provide the same for you and yours.
Nichole Haley

In 2006, Nichole Haley decided to hike the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Main. During her life-changing hike, she realized that when she got home she wanted things to be different. If she could hike the entire Appalachian Trail—why couldn’t she follow her other dream of being a professional photographer? Over a decade later, Nichole is living her dream in Ann Arbor along with her two sons and husband. She does all types of work, from weddings to commercial business photography giving you the chance to tell your story, however you want to tell it.
Ryan Vance
One of our favorite local accounts to follow is Ryan Vance of RAV Media. His high-resolution photos of local plants, streets, murals and more capture everyday life in A2 like nothing else. He also does portraits and videography for all of your professional needs. So give him a follow and enjoy seeing the Ann Arbor area through his artistic eyes.
