Ann Arbor

Ann Arbor Summer Festival (June 14-July 7)
Held for just over three weeks in late June and early July, the Ann Arbor Summer Festival is an exhilarating celebration of performance arts, indoor and outdoor entertainment and community spirit. In its 30th season, the Ann Arbor Summer Festival is offering visitors dozens of performances, activities, and exhibitions for people of all ages.

Ann Arbor Art Fair (July 17-20)
Drawing over 500,000 visitors annually from Ann Arbor and across the globe, the Ann Arbor Art Fairs are a group of four award-winning art fairs. For over 50 years, more than 1,000 artists practicing all mediums gather downtown the third week in July from Wednesday through Saturday. Art exhibits are accompanied by musical performances, outdoor dining, sidewalk sales, and children’s activities.

Blissfield

River Raisin Festival (July 10-13)

This year marks 30 years of summer fun at the River Raisin Festival. The new schedule includes fireworks, giant sand sculptures, lumberjack shows, tractors pulls, a parade and more. Admission is free and all who attend are sure to have a great time.

Sounds & Sights of Chelsea (July 25-27)

Sounds & Sights Festival (formerly Chelsea Summerfest) is an annual summer festival in historic Chelsea, Michigan. This year’s event offers many new, exciting changes as well as keeping the tradition of old favorites that keep people coming year after year.

Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights (June 6 – August 15)

Enjoy the sounds of some of the region’s best musicians while taking in the sights of vibrant downtown Chelsea, Michigan. A variety of artists perform at ten separate staged areas providing listeners with a diverse lineup from bluegrass to jazz to indie rock.

Dexter Daze (August 9-10)
Dexter Daze has occurred every year since 1975. The festivities include over 100 booths of artisans and crafters, free entertainment for the whole family, and a sense of community.

Michigan Shakespeare Festival (July 18- August 18)
The Michigan Shakespeare Festival inspires, attracts, educates and entertains a broad-based audience while developing and furthering an appreciation for live theatre through professional performances of Shakespeare’s works and other classic plays.

Hot Air Jubilee (July 19-21)
The Hot Air Jubilee is centered on the Hot Air Balloons, however that’s not all there is to enjoy. During the event you will be greeted by craft booths, the Kid’s Kingdom, vendors, an auto show, and Laura the Elephant. Being at the park will give you an opportunity to experience the Hurst Planetarium, Ella Sharp Museum, and the mini golf course.

Saline

Saline Celtic Festival (July 11-13)
This festival has something for everyone with food, Michigan craft beers, great music and entertainment. Come hang out and relax with neighbors and friends while strolling through the beautiful Millpond Park. Free parking and shuttle bus service will be available.

Saline Summerfest (August 9-10)
Summerfest features family-oriented food, music, and fun. There is also a juried craft and art show, a trolley tour of Saline’s most intriguing historical sights, a 5K run/walk event, and other special treats.

Camaro SuperFest (July 5-7)

Camaro SuperFest is the longest running annual all Camaro event in the USA. It is held at Riverside Park in Depot Town Ypsilanti, Michigan. The event is open to ALL Camaros, from stock to highly modified, trailered or driven.

Michigan Elvisfest (July 12-13)

The world-renowned Michigan Elvisfest began in 2000 in Ypsilanti, Michigan’s Historic Depot Town. Beautiful Riverside Park is the place where Elvis fans flock by the thousands every July to pay homage to the King of Rock & Roll and to hear the most award-winning professional Elvis Tribute Artists in North America, as well as other talented Legend Tribute Artists.

Shadow Art Fair (July 21, 2012)
The Shadow Art Fair is a juried event that allows local artists to exhibit. This one-day, 12 hour event is held every July at The Corner Brewery in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Local music, featured brews, and other special activities add a distinct flavor and sense of community to this creative showcase.

Michigan Summer Beer Festival (July 26-27)
The Summer Beer Festival features over 600 different beers from more than 65 Michigan craft breweries. Food will be available for purchase inside the festival, and guests will enjoy live music from a variety of Michigan bands.

The oldest of the Michigan Brewers Guild’s four annual festivals, the Summer Beer Festival takes place rain or shine in the lovely outdoor setting of Ypsilanti’s Riverside Park in historic Depot Town.
