Discover Delicious Ann Arbor

I recently discovered Savor Ann Arbor, a company that offers custom tours, including food tours, of our wonderful city. This is a great way to explore local history, art, architecture, shops, and of course FOOD in the downtown area.

I had family visiting from out of town, and some extra time to fill, so a food tour seemed like a perfect way to spend an afternoon. Marcie Greenfield, the owner and primary guide of Savor Ann Arbor, was able to customize our tour based upon the group’s food preferences and accommodate all of our needs.Zingermans Delicatessen 01
The tour started at Zingerman’s Deli and ended three hours later at Kerrytown Market & Shops. We had a total of six stops with lots of sampling along the way and none of us could eat another bite after the tour ended. My family raved about the tour and thought that it was a wonderful way to get to know more about what makes Ann Arbor special.

If you’re looking for a way to entertain visitors or clients from out of town or if you’d like to give a holiday gift that’s an “experience” (gift certificates are available), you should consider trying out this wonderful hidden gem and rediscover Ann Arbor. Check out the website for more information about the many different customizable Savor Ann Arbor tours. The Brew Pubs Tour and the Sweet Stroll Tour may be in my future
