Celebrate performing arts at the Ann Arbor Summer Festival

Presenting a world-class celebration of arts and entertainment, the Ann Arbor Summer Festival is a community tradition. Entering its 30th season, the Ann Arbor Summer Festival includes two concurrent programs, one indoor and one outdoor, from June 14-July 7.
Mainstage
The indoor mainstage series includes ticketed performances of world-class music, dance, theater and comedy.
Top of the Park
Under the summer sky, Top of the Park features free movies, concerts and attractions for the entire family to enjoy. Presented at Ingalls Mall in downtown Ann Arbor, Top of the Park provides a forum for great local, regional, and national artists exemplifying Ann Arbor’s diverse, friendly, and unique culture.
Special Activities & Attractions:
David Zinn
Known around the world, David Zinn’s amazing chalk drawings will be on the street and sidewalks throughout Top of the Park.
KidZone
Providing a fun and safe area for children and their parents, the KidZone features a variety of hands-on activities.
AADL’s Kids Rock
A Sunday family concert series presented in partnership with the Ann Arbor District Library.
Les 7 Doigts De La Main
Packed with dazzling daredevilry, urban charm, and infectious energy, this young company has pioneered a whole new brand of theatrical entertainment with their mix of acrobatic dance, physical theater and torso-twisting routines.
Retreat
A series of mind-body sessions, enjoy relaxing late-afternoon weekend workouts including yoga, Aikido, hula hooping, and dance fitness classes.
Spontaneous Art
Ann Arbor based urban interventionists create interactive performances that bring bystanders together for moments of communal laughter, social connectivity, and flashes of creativity.
Superhero
Festival-goers will be able to fly over the historic facade of the Burton Memorial Tower while enjoying a number of super powers, which they can control with natural gestures.
Tangle
Tangle is a huge, messy, fun, interactive elastic weaving event created live by children and their families. It’s part spectacular visual arts installation, part performance, part playground, part dance party and all chaos.
Tasting Tuesday
Learn about beer varietals and the brewing process in this craft beer sampling on Tuesdays at Top of the Park.
Wind Down Wednesday
Every Wednesday enjoy a wine tasting event at Top of the Park!
