If you are searching for a way to celebrate Earth Day, look no further than the Leslie Science and Nature Center (LSNC). The LSNC will hold their annual Earth Day Festival on April 21, 2013, from 12-4pm.
The festival is a free, family-friendly event featuring live raptors and reptiles, hands-on craft activities, guided hikes, and exhibits from more than 40 local environmental, non-profit, and governmental organizations. This year’s festival will again be a zero-waste event, with help from Recycle Ann Arbor and their grant from the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation.
In addition to the events, the Earth Day Festival will feature performances by Vencedores, and Gemini, along with other musicians throughout the day.
During the festivities, there will be an opportunity to drop off your empty toner cartridges and small electronics for recycling.
