Whitmore Lake

Overview

Whitmore Lake is an unincorporated municipality straddling the Washtenaw/Livingston County line and affording its residents convenient access to Ann Arbor, Detroit, Lansing, and Flint.  Many of Whitmore Lake’s residents enjoy year-round lakefront living along the shores of Whitmore Lake and adjacent Horseshoe Lake. 

A variety of housing styles can be found in Whitmore Lake, from lakefront homes and cottages to newly built neighborhoods.  In 2006, the average sale price of a single family home was $223,982; the median was $197,938.
