Lucinda Williams and Her Band | Ann Arbor

Where: Michigan Theater

When: February 11, 2022

American folk rock icon Lucinda Williams will headline a benefit concert at The Michigan Theater to mark the 40th anniversary of The Breakfast at St. Andrew’s daily meal program. Founded in the summer of 1982, the non-profit has served a free meal to anyone without missing a day — even during the pandemic. Support the efforts of this amazing organization by purchasing tickets for this benefit concert on February 11!

 

Langhorne Slim | Ann Arbor

Singer-songwriter Langhorne Slim has had an incredible journey to get where he is today — just read a bit of his story here. And this February, he’s coming to The Ark in the wake of the release of his most recent album, Strawberry Mansion. Modern Jazz Meets Musical Theatre | Dexter

Fiddler on the Roof | Ann Arbor

Experience “Fiddler on the Roof” like you have never experienced it before, with this special concert performance featuring the first live presentations of John Williams’ orchestral arrangement of the movie score, which premiered more than 50 years ago. The event will then be performed by The Philadelphia Orchestra as part of a multi-faceted partnership with UMS exploring the beloved musical and its timeless theme of tradition through a modern lens. Dearborn Heights Parks & Recreation 2022 Fire & Ice Festival

Make your way to Warren Valley Golf Course in Dearborn Heights for a jam-packed day of fun for the whole family at the Fire & Ice Festival. There will be fire eaters and breathers, kids games, elephant ears, fire pits and s’mores, ice sculptures, stilt walkers, carriage rides, live music, a hot air balloon show, and much more! The festival is free and open to the public.

Hunt for the Yeti | Ypsilanti

We bet you didn’t have “hunt for a yeti” on your 2022 BINGO card! Well, you better add it because you’re invited to explore Rolling Hills County Park in Ypsi in search of the elusive Eddie the Yeti. Follow the clues and riddles along the way to track him down — and be sure to take a picture with him! Admission includes hot cocoa and a take-home craft. Winter Trail Fest 13.1 and 5 Mile – Eastside | Brighton

This annual fundraising event brings together the town’s best bars, restaurants and local martini connoisseurs for an evening of mixology fun! And this year, there are two options to choose from: you can celebrate in person or from the comfort of your own home with their virtual experience. Both ticket options benefit the Ann Arbor Art Center, a non-profit ensuring that everyone has access to the visual arts. Six downtown restaurants will be paired with a mural from the A2AC Murals program and the A2DC to see what martini magic they can create using the mural as inspiration.
