2 More Ways to Enjoy Ann Arbor Parks

With the beginning of a new year many people are searching for new ways to get in shape. In Ann Arbor, due to the abundance of natural beauty, one of the best ways to exercise is by visiting any of the 159 parks and 15 parks facilities. These amenities allow for a variety of activities for all ages, abilities, and interests.
To encourage citizens to use community parks, trails and recreation amenities the City of Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation Services has a new partnership with the Michigan Recreation and Park Association (MRPA).
Through the partnership, City of Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation Services will be providing two programs: A2 Park Passport and A2 Active Aging Adults. These programs offer youth, families and seniors exposure to positive experiences, active lifestyles and opportunities to gain life skills improving health and fitness.
