Burns Park: One of Ann Arbor's Most Desirable Neighborhoods

One of Ann Arbor’s most desirable and expensive neighborhoods, Burns Park is composed of beautiful old homes set around the historic Burns Park and nearby Burns Park Elementary School. Burns Park features tennis courts, softball diamonds, a basketball court, a playground, picnic area, and a sledding hill for everyone to enjoy.

On the northeast side of Burns Park is Ives Woods, with one of the highest median household incomes in Ann Arbor. Driving down the blocks of tree-canopied streets that make up Burns Park and Ives Woods, tucked away within the city of Ann Arbor, is an experience like no other.
Within the exceptional Ann Arbor Public School District, students in Burns Park attend Burns Park Elementary School and Tappan Middle School. Homes north of Washtenaw Avenue attend Huron High School, while the rest of Burns Park attends Pioneer High School.

An Ann Arbor tradition since 1979, Burns Park Run is an annual 5K and 10K race organized by volunteers as a fundraiser for Burns Park Elementary School. The annual race draws beginners and world-class runners alike to run through the beautiful Burns Park neighborhood.

Several grocery and convenience stores are in close proximity to Burns Park including Stadium Market, Kroger, CVS, the Produce Station and Morgan & York. Burns Park is also near Caribou Coffee, Dairy Queen, and the University of Michigan. There are Ann Arbor Transportation Authority (AATA) bus stops, bike lanes and sidewalks to quickly and safely get you to downtown Ann Arbor.
