I have lived my entire life in Southeastern Michigan, but have lived in Washtenaw County for the past thirty years after I fell in love with the area when attending Eastern Michigan University where I studied Real Estate and Land Use Analysis.
After a brief period as a municipal planner, I worked as a commercial and residential appraiser for 30 years. Much of my commercial work was for condominium or subdivision development. I am knowledgeable in income and investment properties and, myself, own rental properties. In addition to mortgage work, I completed estate, probate, and divorce appraisals, so I am proficient in finding solutions for a variety of real estate issues that may arise.
Along with my husband, I wrote, “Hiking Michigan” – hence my love of the many trails and recreational attributes of the area, which I would be happy to share with you. Community activities have revolved around my passion for the land and included volunteering as an Easement Monitor with the Legacy Land Conservancy and as a Steward with the State Park Stewardship Program. Currently, I am a Lake Monitor with the Cooperative Lakes Monitoring Program. My desire is to keep our area an attractive place to call home. I have been a member of the Chelsea Community Garden since 2010.
If you are looking for a new home, wish to sell the one you have, or to find rental opportunities, please give me a call. I am happy to discuss your needs.
